A Heroic Milestone: K9s for Warriors Celebrates 15 Years
K9s for Warriors, a national nonprofit organization dedicated to providing service dogs to veterans suffering from Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), traumatic brain injury (TBI), and military sexual trauma (MST), is making significant strides in its mission. With a commitment to ending veteran suicide, the organization has touched the lives of over 1,200 veterans since its inception 15 years ago. Their ambitious new initiative, Operation: Reach Every Warrior, aims to expand access to service dogs for veterans experiencing invisible wounds of war.

The pilot program kicks off in El Paso, Texas, where four veterans will be paired with service dogs in collaboration with the Endeavors Health & Wellness Center. This expansion is highly significant—by going directly to communities, K9s for Warriors can meet the urgent needs of veterans without compromising program quality.

Recently, K9s for Warriors opened the Duffield Veterinary Clinic in Ponte Vedra, Florida, equipped with advanced medical facilities to ensure that service dogs receive top-notch veterinary care.
